I am a Behaviour Support Practitioner with a background in psychology and a strong interest in supporting individuals to develop meaningful, independent and fulfilling lives. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Psychology, and I am currently completing a Master of Applied Behaviour Analysis at Monash University.
I have previous experience working with children and individuals with disabilities through my work at the Blind People’s Association, where I was involved in psychological assessments and supporting children with diverse needs. I have also completed psychology internships in hospital settings, which strengthened my understanding of working collaboratively with
individuals and multidisciplinary teams.
My approach is person centred, compassionate and evidence based. I aim to build trusting relationships by listening to participants, understanding their preferences, strengths, communication styles and individual needs, and involving them in decisions about their
support. I am particularly motivated by seeing small, meaningful changes that improve a person’s quality of life and independence.
Outside of work, I enjoy writing, learning about psychology and behaviour, and continuously developing my professional knowledge and skills.
