Helping Hands Positive Behavior Support Cancellation Policy
We kindly request that if you need to cancel the appointment, you provide us with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. This will allow us to adjust our schedules and offer the allocated slot to other clients in need of support.
You will receive a text message reminder 2 days prior to the appointment date. You can cancel/ reschedule your appointment on that day. Any cancellation after 48 hours will be charged 100%.

Late Cancellations: Cancellations that are made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be considered “late cancellations.” We do understand that unexpected situations can occur. And these can disrupt the continuity of support for both you and other clients. In the case of a late cancellation, we ask you to reschedule at the earliest convenience. If not, unfortunately, the charges will still be proceeded.
Not-Showing-Up: If you miss an appointment even for an valid reason, without providing any prior notice, it will be considered a “no-show.” No-shows generally takes our therapist’s valuable time; and prevent others from receiving timely support. Amount charged for not showing up is 100%.
Emergency Situations: We understand that emergencies can happen unknowingly. If you’re facing an unexpected situation, please communicate with our executive ASAP so we can work together to find a suitable solution.
Rescheduling: We always encourage rescheduling appointments if possible (prior to 48 hours), rather than cancelling it straightaway.
Easy Flexibility: If you frequently find yourself in a situation where you need to cancel or reschedule; it is better we communicate to bring convenience to your visits.
